Dad is doing well but is weak after laying in a hospital bed for four weeks. He is being visited by the physical therapy team to help build his strength.
He is eating regular food but is still being fed through a tube until he can get all of his nutrition from eating. If you visit, please make sure to divert any food or drink requests that Dad may have to the nurse ;)
Since Dad is doing better, I am going to write less frequently.
Although this journey is not over, I am thanking you for your prayers, thoughts, love and support. You helped all of us through this tough time and showed us that we can all come together in times of need to help each other. It is this human compassion that makes me smile.

We are sooooo glad things have gone so well the last few days! Wow...what a difference a week makes. He is truly the miracle man.
Please give Karl a big hug for us and keep the posts coming. Even if it to tell us something small, if not we will assume no news is good news.
