No significant changes this morning. Dad is still unable to wake up.
He is currently on the pain medicine hydromorphone which is thought to be 3-7 times more powerful than morphine. Hydromorphone is used to relieve moderate to severe pain and severe, painful dry coughing. His current dosage is the least possible. The doctors are still waiting for the sedative from the previous pain medicines to wear off.

Like when the waitress tells him she is going to get him a refill, I can hear him now; "I'll wait here...".

Me too, please. I wish I could've been there to visit with the rest of you guys. But Grandpa's in my thoughts and prayers every day. Thank you for blogging about his condition, it's nice to get an update every day. Love you guys!
