Dad is about the same this morning as last night; some recognition and response to the nurse's requests and no real change to his medications or medical state. His is still on multiple medications to manage his pain.
We all talked to Dad last night although we're not sure how much he comprehended. Nancy read the sports section of the paper to him, his favorite part. I was able to get an acknowledgment from him when I told him that I was leaving and I would see him tomorrow.
Thanks to all for your comments, cards and other spirit-lifting items. We are telling Dad about them daily.
