Jan 20 evening update

Dad's condition has stabilized.  He is currently on a full-time dialysis machine and still on the ventilator.  The doctors are not sure at this point why his kidneys have failed but it may be due to an infection of the matter still residing in his injured left lung.  Hopefully these are temporary measures to get him over the hump.
