Dad still has some internal bleeding from his spleen and lung and he is receiving about a pint of blood a day. We are still waiting for the pneumonia test lab result. His fever is about 101+, down a little from its high earlier today. They have changed his pain medicine to reduce the amount of sedative in his system. Despite the reduced amount of sedative, Dad remains unconscious due to the residual sedative in his system, his age, and the forces placed upon his brain during the impact. They had to also increase the amount of medicine used to raise his blood pressure.
We are heading out for the night and will provide an update tomorrow morning.

Hey Karl!!!! Prayers are being said daily for you. We know you are going to get strong and be up and around eating pizza subs and hanging out with friends in no time. :-) Be nice to nurses and remember your in our thoughts.
