Dad, heck of a way to spend your birthday. Thank you to all that sent him a birthday card; for all of the thoughts, prayers and humor in them.
He had a rough day again today. His sodium levels dropped significantly in a short period of time, an unusual event according to the nurse. This sudden drop caused Dad to go into a seizure. He was sedated and is resting quietly now.
With the extent of his injuries, it may be a couple more weeks before he can rely less on the machines. I'm sure his birthday wish is to get out of the hospital; let's all hope he realizes it soon!

We know this is the last place you wanted to spend your birthday but you are in the right spot. May God's healing grace be upon you and may you get stronger as you look forward to going home. God has a plan for you.
